Brother Sixtus recently provided some of the youth of our School with a tour of the Abbey Church and a viewing of some of the relics in the monastic collection. He discusses the significance of all this, in an age where “relics” tend to refer to old-fashioned things no longer of any value.
With this homily, Abbot Michael Brunner addressed the School on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. He calls to our attention Mary’s closeness to God and her following of His will.
