33 Days to Merciful Love – Book Cover
A group from St. Philomena School, just across the Lane, visited on Saturday morning, December 12, feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The group was gather by their chaplain, Dr. Timothy Flanigan ‘75, who has been assisting as their chaplain - one of the many hats Dr. Flanigan currently wears. The focus of their visit was a personal consecration to Divine Mercy. In that spirit, Br. Sixtus offered a post-Mass reflection and the group was blessed by Prior Michael. Brother Benedict assisted the group in praying the rosary at the altar of Our Lady. Brother Sixtus noted that his reflections were largely shaped by his experience in Zimbabwe at the Monastery of Christ the Word, a foundation of the English Benedictine Congregation. You can read more about the event in Brother Sixtus’ Notes in this issue.
